夜の闇の中の光を主なモチーフとしてから、今年で10年目になる。
身近にある何の変哲もないものは、人の目を引きにくい。
華やかな作品を生み出す作家さん達を羨ましく思うこともあった。
なぜ写真ではなく絵画なのかという疑問もあった。
アートとは何か？
ただ「好きなもの」や「感覚」だけでは成り立たないのだと思う。
しかし、自ら手を動かして描くことにより、私の思想が表れてくるのかもしれない。
Ordinary things in our surroundings are hard to recognize.
I have envied artists who make vivid works sometimes.
I have asked myself why I have not chosen photography but painting for my art.
What are arts? I think, at least, they are not just “what I like” and “what I feel.”
However, I also think I may describe my thoughts with painting with my hand.
