私は以前から主に夜の日常風景や窓、街灯をモチーフとした作品制作のため、街中や住宅街を散策していきました。
昼夜散策していると、些細なものかもしれないけれど、実は日頃から身近にあって生活環境を構成しているものの存在を意識することがあります。
それらをクローズアップし、展示空間を囲む大きな絵画として表現を試みます。

Walking both day and night, I often pick up on objects or scenes which although trivial, still occupy a certain proximity
to the daily world which I inhabit, and therefore seem to carry some weight or meaning to me.
I have spent a good deal of time walking urban streets in search of different visual motifs which form the basis of my artistic approach,
namely everyday scenes on the street, windows, and electric lights.
With this exhibition I have attempted to magnify these scenes or objects in my large scale paintings by creating an environment
which confronts the viewer from all directions.
