『私は多分、あなたが思っているより強い』

2016年の個展の直前、女性が殺傷される事件が2件起きた。
どちらも相手を支配したいという動機によるものだった。

ここにいるのは「女の子」らしい女性。
彼女に対して「か弱い」「支配できそうだ」と思うのは、見る側の勝手なイメージなのかもしれない。

“Maybe I am stronger than you think”

Just before my solo show in 2016, two crimes involving women occurred.
A young woman was murdered. Another young woman was heavily injured.
Both of the criminals had a desire to dominate those women.

Here is a woman. She looks "girly".
It might be arbitrary to consider her as a delicate person and an easy target to put under your control.
